I think it was Michael Moore who said that trump is an evil genius who orchestrated the whole op-ed.

He pointed to that "adults in the room" line as trump himself basically saying, no need to topple my administration, there are adults in the room.

I don't put a lot of stock (not much at all) in what Michael Moore says.
