Many didn't consider jazz to be
music in the 20's. It all sound the
same after awhile, like rock does.

The fact that it all sounds the same to you just means that you don't care for it.

I like George Thorogood but don't think I'd enjoy his concerts much after the second tune. Some things are best taken in small doses.

The woman who wrote the article refers
to Manson as 'Charles' constantly, was
he her best friend? Very unprofessional,
would she refer to President Kennedy
as 'John'? You don't personalize people
that you've never met if you write for
the press.

Mel Tillis, 85. I never had an opinion about his music one way or the other , but I admired how he didn't let a severe stutter hold him back. He was on the talk shows frequently in the 70s. Most people would have avoided interviews.

When I was a kid we always had older cars, so we had one of the last cars with an 8-Track. My dad had a Mel Tillis 8-Track someone gave him, when we would go to the lake to visit his mother, I don't know how many times he played it. Send me down to Tuscon.......

Now you are making me feel old AZD I remember the first car I was ever in that had an 8 track. It was a huge improvement over the 45RPM players that you could get for a car. As you can imagine they would skip a lot on a bumpy road.
