I don't believe we posted about the death on June 15, 2017 of this person.

Not to confused with the person on the right with the same name.

Who? Where do find these people nobody
has heard of.

How about Chuck Yeager,

How about someone actually dead?

How about Chuck Yeager, there's a real American
icon and hero. He might be the longest living
test pilot of all time. The guy was fearless in the
early days of jets. He claims he can fly anything
if you show him how the controls work. He says
he should have augered in (they never use the
word crashed) 40 times and never did. A real
mans man if there ever was one. 94 years old
and still kicking.

He rose thru the ranks to general with just a HS
education. He received just about every award
possible in his military career. He shot down
5 German fighters in one day in WWII. And,
oh yeah, he broke the sound barrier for first
time in history.

He almost turned the rank of General down. Generals don't fly, he was given a special waiver. When they offered him 2-Star he did turn it down because they said no way would they give another waiver no matter how good his history. So he retired.
The President is a fink.

He would have made a great astronaut
but was rejected because he had no
college degree. A shame. He was so
competent that he was a captain at
the end of WWII and giving Ike advice
on aircraft. When still in his early 20's.
Amazing.

He admitted he was born at the right time. In his book he said how you could be jealous that some other test pilot was flying some awesome new plane but 4 hours later you got a shot. They made and broke the rules as they went along. He said if he was born even 10 years later he would have just been another pilot and not gotten near the shots he did.

I read his book years ago. The actor
who played him in Right Stuff got it
pretty close. A quiet macho guy who
did what he liked and had zero fear
of anything. You face death on a daily
basis and watch all your friends die
around you, fear just goes away eventually.

I met Yeagers first wife at an air show. She probably already had cancer then based on the date of her recorded death. Didn't meet Chuck.

Quote:
An Oregon man died peacefully after being told — falsely — that President Donald Trump had been impeached, according to his obituary.

Michael Garland Elliott, 75, died April 6 after suffering from declining health. His ex-wife, Teresa Elliott, who is described in the obituary as his “best friend” and only surviving relative, was the last voice he heard before he passed away, according to the obituary published in the Oregonian. She told him the president had been impeached from office.

“And the last thing she said to him was “Donald Trump has been impeached,” the obituary reads. “Upon hearing that he took his final, gentle breath, his earthly work concluded.”

Hope my death can have wonderful news like that.

A life that revolves around bitterness
and hatred, I can't even imagine it.
To let silly politics and who's in office
run your life. Talk about a waste of time..
