This is the best, CNN Libs at their loony
finest. Hands up, lets make fools out of
ourselves.

I'll never click on an EB YouTube link, but I find it funny the caption says "conhtroversial."

Orin Hatch just read a list as long
as your arm of police and district
attorney and federal police
organizations that support Sessions
for AG. Hatch said he'd never seen
this kind of support from the law
enforcement community for an
AG nominee. Sessions says over
and over his job will be to enforce
the written laws, not find a way
around them to suit the politicians.

How refreshing..

Hole in ground, meet AMS's head. His safe space
where he can't learn anything new.

Hopefully he truly means that.

Sessions will obviously be confirmed. The Senate always confirms their own.

Looks like the "Blue Boy" episode of the old Dragnet.
The President is a fink.

As Rush pointed out today, thanks to the
wisdom of Harry Reid, who passed the
51% rule because he was convinced Hillary
would win in '16, no Trump appointee will
be passed over unless some unforgivable
skeleton is discovered in their closet. The
Dems are powerless to stop anybody this
time. Thanks, Harry!

Remember when Obama appointed tax
cheat Tim Geitner as Treasury Secretary?
An IRS cheat ran the IRS under Obama
for 4 years. Remember when he was
arrested in 2010? Good times..

The idea that the 51% rule was passed because he was convinced Hillary would win in 2016 is complete nonsense. It was passed to cut through the GOP gridlock and actually get some of Obama's nominees through.

But yes, from now on all appointees (Dem and Repub) will require 50 votes. Not necessarily a bad thing in my eyes.

Supreme Court nominees still need 60 as of now. It is possible Republicans could change it to 50. I would be fine with that because the same thing will apply when the Dems regain control.

That's not true, but it would be great
if it was. It would mean Harry was so
ignorantly stupid that he couldn't see
20 min into the future of this rule
and how it could bite them on the ass
hard.

But he did think they had a lock on 2016,
it was brought up again and again.

By Rush?

Any sources on that from pre-2016?

(I won't hold my breath).
