And saying Hillary would win was a smart one? Really? Trump won by a handy number of EC votes and will do so again, not a dumb prediction at all. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Predicting that the 99-1 favorite will win is not dumb; predicting that the 99-1 underdog will win is dumb. And that is not changed in the 1% of the time that the underdog actually manages to win. |

And making her the 99-1 fave was a smart move, then? It was a clumsy, illegitimate and dumb move. It was based on wishful thinking and the media believing it had more power than it did. They believed their own hype to the point they were high fiving and popping the bubbly open at 9pm on election day. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Maybe Thomas E Dewey could have explained it. Seems like great underdogs in recent Presidential elections win about as often as a safety in a Super Bowl. |
