I came across this idea at a local tech fair. It's a small developer just trying out an idea, which combines a poker like bidding system with a draft.

Basically, a schedule of games is put up for big, and in turn people can raise there bid for the teams. Winner takes the team, and if they win their game, they get a cut of the bank.

Money is all virtual credits right now, with the ability to boost your credits per auction with credits. Most of the auctions are versus an AI right now.
