Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Mathew 7:6.
Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Or you will also be like him. Proverbs 26:4
Never did understand that Mathew bit.
I think the Proverbs bit is advocating using simply a different folly, not sure.

So you think this is the core message
of Jesus? Please translate into English,
I have no idea what it means.

Wiki says about this verse:

"this verse is a rare relic demonstrating that Jesus' original message was intended only for the Jews."

That makes sense, but what WAS the original
message! It's certainly not Matthew 7:6

Mathew: Don't waste your breath on individuals who insist on rejecting God and are going to hell anyways. Proverbs: Arguing with a fool makes you foolish so don't do it.

You are incapable of understanding. Give up trying. You have a hardened heart which renders you unable to hear or comprehend the truth.

So you don't know the message of
Jesus either, what a shock. Kind of
embarrassing for you, I would think.

John 3:14

"Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up"

So this is the core message Jesus taught
for 3 years? Are you sure? He went around
telling people that he must be 'lifted up'?

You're just as confused about the message
of Jesus as everybody else seems to be.

Opps, John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Yeah, no. This is the message of the NT,
not the message Jesus went around
preaching for 3 years. And please don't
tell me his message was love your neighbor
and love your enemy, that was hardly a
new concept. They didn't kill him because
his message was love each other.

If you think the message of the NT is different than the message of Jesus Christ then I don't know what to tell you. This is from John's Gospel. The message of Jesus is that He is the Messiah, God Incarnate, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who came into the world to save us from our sins. This is why they killed Him and this is how He resurrected.
