Can you give an example of his juvenile logic?

CS Lewis is the go to guy when
dealing with Xtion teens. Has been
for decades. He wrote simplistic
books like the Narnia series, that
bat you over the head with Xtion
sophistry.

soph·ist·ry
ˈsäfəstrē/
the use of fallacious arguments

What about morality evolving, where
else could it come from. The universe
is not a naturally moral place, it's
a survival of the fittest place. Morality
evolved so we can live together in
close proximity somewhat peacefully.

Why do we have a very different morality from the wild beasts then? Animals live in close proximity somewhat peacefully with one other but they do so with this survival of the fittest morality. We are very different. Human beings protect the weak and the strong serve others. Following our base instincts and simply satisfying our carnal desires leads to depression, despair, and a feeling of unfulfillment in us. We love art and music. We question and explore and do science. We seem to have a built in desire to learn and to love and to live in ways foreign to every other of God's creatures. Why is that?

By the way sophistry is not so much the use of fallacious arguments but rather the use of words to sound impressive or correct while at the same time saying nothing, advancing nothing, and speaking at times falsely. You are very good at sophistry.

Evolution explains everything. It's
only a puzzle if you make it one.
The agenda of religious people
is to stuff everything into their
small religious box, no matter how
ridiculous the results look.

"A sophist is a person who reasons with clever but fallacious and deceptive arguments"

This definition fits Xtions perfectly. They
can prove nothing, have zero evidence
for a god existing, yet have a hundred
fallacious and deceptive arguments to
dance around the subject and confuse
the gullible. And it works, the world is
full of mostly gullible people wanting
someone else to do all their thinking
for them.

How many animals kill for sport? Animals are much more moral than people.

Take a dog for instance.

Also because they are lazy. It's to much work to argue with a zealot.

Tom Leykis has an atheist call in
show I listen to at times. The
Xtions who call to argue with
him are mostly pathetic, they
have almost no understanding
of their own religion or the
concept of god. Their whole
argument is usually, well, where
did we come from if not god.

Leykis always answers, I don't
know, but I do know I can wait
for the answer and not have to
make up fairy tale stories about
gods to fill in the gaps. lol

It is a lot of work to argue with a zealot. I feel like they just parrot lines over and over. When shown they are wrong they always either insult, run away, or ignore and move on to some digression. It takes a lot of effort. For example take Evenbob just recently. He insults Lewis with childish talk without any evidence and he ignores questions and just says ridiculous things over and over.

It most assuredly does not. It doesn't explain the origin of the universe, it doesn't explain how constant and unchanging rules of math govern the universe, it doesn't explain our love of things impractical like the arts.
