Seriouly, you do this all the time. State
things as facts that are categorically
not true.

Bob, I think you have me confused with yourself. You are the one who just said all God religions are based on emotion. You state this as a fact. Come on, you realize that this is just your personal experience and you shouldn't say such vague and untrue things as fact.

Have you ever attended a Xtion
worship service?

Are you seriously asking me this? Nothing of what you describe is my experience. Do you see now the problem with speaking in such broad strokes? It is one of the reasons you are always wrong.

Ever see an exorcism?

You have never seen an exorcism except on TV. You have no conception of what an exorcism is if you believe this. They are actually pretty boring usually (there are of course exceptions to this, but they are rare).

All the god religions
are like this, with raw emotion you have
nothing.

What about the Shakers?

Sounds emotional to me:

'They called themselves the United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing, but because of their ecstatic dancing the world called them the Shakers.'

Do you want me to post some videos
of priests doing exorcisms? Really?

I won't bother because you'd say, oh
Bob, where do you find such false
material. It's what you always say.

The experts who have investigated
it for decades say it's psycho babble
role playing melodrama. If you go
in thinking it's real, then to you it
is. If you're a skeptic it will look fake.

Real facts don't work that way. I can
be a skeptic and the plane I'm in will
still fly, even if I believe it won't.

I'd be interested. Exorcisms are very biblical.

Trivia time! What is the name of the "unclean spirit" Jesus exorcised from the man from Gadarenes?

That is one of my favorite bible stories, by the way.

Bob, you can do whatever you want. Exorcism are really a prayer service, its not as sexy as you think. I'd be curious about your videos too.

You are right I've been trying to tell you this for a long time. Even if you won't believe in God, He still exists.

You have it ass backwards. Even if
you believe in god, he still doesn't
exist. Nor can you prove he does.
I don't need to prove he doesn't
because you can't prove a negative.

This is why god religions flourish,
not because god can be proven,
it's because he can't. Because there
is no god, he can be anything they
dream up. Get enough dunderheads*
to agree with them, and they have the
power the Church had for 1500 years.
Nothing lasts forever, absolute power
corrupts absolutely, or so they say.

*dun·der·head
ˈdəndərˌhed/
noun: dunderhead; plural noun: dunderheads

a stupid person; a stupid or slow-witted person.
blockhead, bonehead, dunce, dunderhead, hammerhead,
knucklehead, loggerhead, lunkhead, muttonhead, numskull.

If you can't prove a negative than how come you are so sure that God does not exist?

Also can you please watch your language?

I am again insulted. Do you really think that everyone who believes in God does so simply because there is nothing to prove He doesn't? That I worship an emptiness and void. That God is something I've dreamed up? That everyone who believes in the same God has just dreamed up the same thing? Bob, you are deluded and dreaming here and what you are saying doesn't make any sense, has nothing to support it, and is horribly insulting.

Pretty much, yes. And they didn't
dream it up themselves, they were
told what to believe from an early
age. They aren't up to the task
of dreaming it up themselves.

Of course I think you worship a
void, filled with whatever you want
to put there. I'm an atheist, what
did you think I thought. I don't
believe in a god or even a higher
power. Why would I.
