You mean like how you're always
saying how glad you are that I'm
'coming around' to whatever position
you're pushing, when you know dang
well that's as far from the truth as
you can get?

Quit treating me like I'm new here,
we've been talking about this stuff
since 2011, and almost daily since
2014. I can categorically say I've
never spoken this much to another
person in my life. Thousands of
posts, and at least a thousand PM's.
You should be greatly complimented,
or greatly dismayed. Take your pick.

But Bob, have you ever made a voodoo doll of the Padre (or is that reserved just for me lol)?

Thank you for understanding and your quasi apology is accepted.

So if the OT is equal in every way
to the NT, why does it say this
on a Catholic site:

'Old Testament law, as such, is not binding on Christians. It never has been. In fact, it was only ever binding on those to whom it was delivered—the Jews (Israelites)."

Are they lying, or are you wrong.

I'm out of the voodoo business now, though
voodoo has it's roots in the Catholic Church.
Voodoo is far more interesting than Xtionity
itself. It's proactive religion at it's best.

Christianity and Voodoo

The similarities between voodoo and Roman Catholicism are remarkable. In the New World Roman Catholicism and African paganism merged to create the symbiosis called voodoo.

How can 'man' decide which of God's law applies to them?
(Discounting an entire Testament (which is the word of God) goes beyond cafeteria Catholicism)

I am sure there are many topics we can debate, and dare I say some we might agree on, on this forum.

I second that suggestion. Padre, how about bringing up a topic in a new thread that isn't about religion, at least directly. I agree the topic of religion has become toxic between you two and is going nowhere.

It hasn't changed since 2011. Where
is it supposed to be 'going'? We
must get something out of it or
we would have stopped in oh,
2012 or so. I never do anything I
don't want to be doing, remember?

If FrG has been beaten down by my
relentless logic and icy grasp on
truth and reality, I'll understand if
he wants to back away after 7 years
of taking it on the chin. I can be a
gracious winner, I can do that..

This is one of the reasons I keep engaging. Sometimes Bob shows a great sense of humor. That and I feel obligated to defend the truth.

A thread has never been closed here,
this isn't WoV. There would be no
reason to close a thread here, there
are no trolls. Most threads get closed
because they're started by trolls.
