Four women from upscale Monterrey California are screwing over one another out in soap opera fashion. The husbands see-saw between supportive caring modern men, and psychotic. Shailene Woodley is a poor mysterious newcomer with a son and a lot of anger. Zoë Kravitz plays a young hot woman who is basically a blessed saint but who drives all the men wild. The townsfolk play a bitchy gossipy chorus. It's soap opera start gradually unfolds a complex thriller. It's a murder mystery where you have to guess not only the killer, but the victim.
