You know a bad movies is only a bad movie, if it doesn't become a cult-classic 30 years after it bombed the box office :) I saw pieces of it on TV once. I recall only one mildly funny joke: If God had meant for us to fly, He wouldn't have taken away our wings. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

The amazing thing was that it took 12 years until they made another movie based on Marvel Comic Book character. In 2014 there were no less than five Marvel comic book movies, and eight are scheduled for 2018. Universal, New Line and Lionsgate licensed minor Marvel characters. Fox, Sony, and Paramount - then Disney (Buena Vista) licensed major Marvel characters

Well, I don't know, guess we have to trust the director is actually in control of the movie, and not the other way around! Interesting premise though, a film about making a movie where the characters in the movie are the ones in charge. Halfway through the movie they show the director in the screening room taking orders from the characters on the screen. It could work well as a creepy horror movie type of way. Spielberg should make it and claim it is how he became successful. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Good one.
Interesting. But why horror? Come to think of it there's a story by Asimov called "Author, Author!" where a fictional character in a writer's story series comes to life and pesters the author (see?) no end. I think it gets fixed by inducting the character into the Army in a story (this was during WWII). And there are other stories like that. The second season of the Librarians was little else. I guess it made me think of director sitting there taking orders, how it might start to go bad somehow. Also "Purple Rose of Cairo". Woody Allen. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
