I'm laughing and laughing at the media.
Such short memories. It's Scooter Libby
all over again. When it hit that Libby
had lied, the press was drooling, babbling
and ejaculating, all at the same time. They
had Bush! Libby had LIED, congress was
sure to impeach!!! They were beside
themselves with glee.

For about a week... lol

Scooter Libby worked for the VP
Flynn worked for the President

Scooter never cooperated and went to trial and was convicted
Flynn is cooperating and pled guilty and is spilling the beans

Seen three former special prosecutors so far
talking about the Flynn case. They all said
the same thing, nothing to do with Trump.
Flynn did this and that, and if Trump was
involved in wrong doing, and Mueller
could prove it, he wouldn't be hiding behind
the door waiting to pop out with it and
catch everybody off guard. One them even
said the whole thing has been a collossal
waste of time and money for what they
got out of it.

Trump being connected to Russia collusion would be big trouble of course, but remember Bill Clinton was impeached on obstruction of justice and perjury.

The only thing I'd be surprised at is if they don't find those two charges against Trump.

I posted something like this in another thread, but any 1st year law student will know that any testimony by Flynn is worth little...... He AND his son were protected ONLY if he would testify. So a guy who admitted to LYING now has a motive of protecting his family (and himself) if he once again says WHATEVER the prosecutor wants him to say.
If he has access to any real EVIDENCE (tapes, photos, receipts, money transactions, etc) then that may do the trick. If all he has is "Trump told me to collude with Russians" that is worth ABSOLUTELY ZERO.

Prosecutors use past liars all the time to convict
Thats how they put the mafia in jail
Liars come clean, testify, somebody in the mob goes to jail. Any 1st year law student knows this. The only way to put somebody like John Gotti in prison is to have liar Sammy the bull come clean and tell the truth.
The truth is a powerful weapon
Goodfellas, based on a true story is about the govt using people that have lied and are criminals coming clean, testifying and putting mob figures in jail. Huge movie. Dont have to be a 1st year law student, just a member of the movie viewing public to know this

I believe Flynn still has worry about lying. He could lose the deal if caught in more lies.

Anyway, it's broader than just receipts and making up testimony to suit the prosecutors. Once he stops lying his testimony will confirm more of the people telling the truth about different details. Instead of the conversation that only two people confirmed happened he is able to confirm details he didn't even know were in the testimony from others. Instead of things he said he forgot, he can now remember.

All of this can be used to put further pressure on others.
