Happy 150th Canada! You don't look a year over 125.

Quote: Canada 150 website

Celebrate Canada is a four-day celebration that begins on June 21 with National Aboriginal Day, continues with Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day (June 24) and Canadian Multiculturalism Day (June 27), and comes to a spectacular finish on Canada Day (July 1).

The questions for the poll is, "What's your favorite thing about Canada?"

I thought I knew the meaning of the prefix 'sesqui' from the evidence - but I was wrong [altho 150th is correct for sesquicentennial]

Wizard should use it for one of his quizzes? slightly math-connected.

The prefix sesqui- is a shortened form of a Latin word meaning “a half in addition” or 1½ times; it appears in the rather better known sesquicentennial for a 150th anniversary. So semisesquicentennial refers to half of 1½ of 100 or 75. .... https://www.google.com/#q=sesqui+prefix+meaning[/spoiler]

Say "sesquipedal" instead of "a foot and a half". Girls will be very impressed by how erudite you are.
