In the past 10 years there have been no investment miracles like real estate, stock market, etc. Bitcoin is the wonderchild of the past decade. So naturally someone in their 20's would be impressed.

With Youtube creators makes $100 for every 7000 views, and they need a minimum of $100 for Google to transfer money to their bank account. So I think steemit has a good idea of paying people in virtual currency. The company is making real USD and the creators are being paid in virtual currency.

Those Bitcoin billionaires make me wonder... are they still invested up to the hilt in bitcoin? It would be amusing if they became the next bitcoin millionaires.
I have a small 'position' in bitcoin and can hardly lose now. It is a bubble: It will burd=st: There will be blood on the walls.
For now, I play chicken with reality, depending on the greater fool.

Do you feel you have more insight into your investment than if you were trying to guess when a slot machine will hit? Better, same, or worse?

Generally with regular stocks you can read something about the company, and while it's hardly a sure thing it's better than blind luck.

Yes with regular stocks if they fall by 50% there will be thousands of analysts looking for the good bargains in undervalued companies. When Bitcoin falls 50% it will be mass panic, even though BTC went up 40% in 40 hours.
