Generally not, it is rewarding lawbreaking.

Ignorant here, but isn't DACA to do with children? And in this case, children who have not acted, but were acted upon?

Kids aren't typically tried in criminal court for reasons; I would suspect those reasons apply to this fully, especially considering they by definition cannot be a "willing party".
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

They are not "kids." They are now adults for the most part. Paying for the crimes of their parents. Why I am open to compromise. No citizenship, just residency. No voting.

The whole amnesty thing is about Democrat votes. Always has been. We can see what happened to CA after the last amnesty. Moved so far left it is almost another country.

France has done that for how many years now?
I don't understand France? What is the deal with them, can they just not recover from ww2? I read Macron spends 30k month, for make up? They continue to be involved in ME conflicts, their retirement system and work seniority system seems crazy to me. Not to mention all the immigrants, [or whatever they are].

Where do they find the money? They are next in line or Italy to collapse after Greece. Competitive devaluation or something? They are a living breathing example of how socialism fails.

Follow the money I guess. There is profit in chaos.

I suppose no one want to join with me and just annex Mexico? At least Baja. If we just colonize all of Mexico, all this heated discussion can be over. Very quickly fix a lot of problems, even Nafta.

I think LaRaza is crazy to want to annex parts of the SW back into Mexico because then the wages in Cali. would be 3 dollars per hour. Go the other way with it, seize Mexico. It will help with the ecology, labor, immigration, War on drugs/people etc. It can probably be done without firing very many shots at all.

Would enough Mexicans vote to join the USA?

Also this way, Trumps wall would already be built, only at the south of Mexico not the SW USA? Come on, work with me here. If you think about it, it really is the best and cheapest solution.

The Democrats should tie DACA legislation to tax reform.

I'd be for it, but with a 100 year admission process. They would be non-voting territory until English spoken, property rights confirmed, and some other requirements. In 2117 they can apply for admission as states. Since Mexican presidents keep saying they have to dump excess population in the USA, they cannot handle things themselves I suppose?

Had it not been for the slave question, it would have happened in the 1850s.

They will probably collapse socially in the next generation or two. It will be a muslim state with UN veto power.

Another good reason to get us out of the UN now.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a constitutional expert and don't know much about how the system was handling illegal alien children or adults who arrived as children before DACA. It is my impression that once anyone got here, especially children, they had to get in trouble with the law before they might get sent back.

Anyway, I support a method to attain citizenship for anyone who arrived here as a minor, based on the candidates merits to society, as evidenced by education, health, job history, ability to speak English, and lack of a criminal background. I recognize that it creates a moral hazard, incentivizing more illegal immigration. However, I think the alternative to have millions of hard-working people who know no other country to stay in legal limbo is the greater sin. If that is what DACA is, then I support it.

The other night on the news was a Hispanic cop who was worried about being sent back to Mexico. Said he came here as a child, graduated HS, went into LE and made something of his life and doesn't think he should be deported. My question is...he had 20 years to become a US citizen and he didn't do it? Now he's worried? How did he become a cop if he's not even a citizen? How does he get paid if he has no Social security number? Can illegal aliens like him, even with DACA, get a SS#?

Stephen Colbert tweeted something funny, but I don't remember it exactly..."If you repeal DACA to MAGA, then you full of CACA."
