From the videos the only Irish I saw were maybe the cops.. They showed a cell full of arrested looters and it was 100% non Irish. A lot of guys with their pants down around the groin area. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

The most common estimate is that Hurricane Katrina cost $108 billion. Insurance covered $80 billion of the losses, but University of North Texas Professor Bernard Weinstein estimated that Katrina cost $250 billion. The latter number includes both the damage and its economic impact. He estimated uninsured losses at $215 billion, and insured losses at $35 billion.
