Some of us... we don't take it as well as others.

You're bi-polar, this is a licking the
floor of the subway week for you.
Hemingway called it black ass time.
You'll hang in there because you
know next week will be better, it
always is.

Maybe you guys can tell me how many people die annually from rental truck related violence? Feel free to exclude suicides.

Wow, point missed by you..

In honor of the former Iraq information minister Comical Ali

ISIS released a statement claiming Paddock as a late convert to Islam and a member of the terror group

I am sure some conservatives and Alex Jones will believe this
lol

CBS has fired their vice president for the following comment "she was not even sympathetic” to victims of the Las Vegas shooting because “country music fans often are Republican,” . This is where all this hate has gotten too. Might have to see if ADZ has a spare room in his bunker.

As a suggestion and not a demand, perhaps let's take any gun debate into a gun thread. This issue encompasses much more than a single tool, and the cancer AZD often refers to that's infecting society will use knives, trucks, airplanes, minivans and Jeep Cherokees just as easily. I think this thread would be better served focusing on this latter topic, as well as the upcoming reactions and fallout, rather than a debate that kind of already has a place for it to exist.

Just thinking aloud. Do as you will.

I agree. I will try to split off those posts.

Don't bother, nobody here really wants to
discuss it, what more is there to say that
we haven't said.

It didn't work. I'll create a separate clean thread. Please take up the topic there.

Some individual spouts hate.
You are climbing into a bunker?
Due to an individual?
When the company does the right thing?????
Wouldn't it be more offensive to you if the company did the wrong thing?
Hate is wrong
In this case, the glass is more full then empty.
Be happy rather then climbing into a bunker :-)

The incident is a symptom of how far society has fallen. The side that thinks it holds the higher moral ground now believes that innocent deaths are fine if the dead are people who they disagree with. If I believed that this was an isolated belief and she was a one off it wouldn't concern me. But as has been proven by many of the comments on our venue here it is not an isolated opinion. The left now feel that anything goes in their crusade to save the world and make it a better place to live. These zealots are so blinded by their own hate they are destroying the very world they profess to be trying to save. Meaningful discussion now means you must agree with me because you are wrong, don't try to change my mind with facts as I have my own set. A truly intelligent person will never be scared to learn something new. Sometimes this will involve admitting you are wrong and changing your mind. When I hear this idea expressed by many on the right but almost all on the left it can be rephrased as "they just need more time to know we are right since they aren't as bright as me and able to see it right away".

What's the difference between this incident
and Charles Whitman in 1966. He killed his
family, then took a bunch of rifles and started
picking people off from a tower at the U of T.
That was 50 years ago, a nut case is a nut
case. Was society 'fallen' in 1966? We always
have to blame something we're doing wrong
as a society. Too many guns, too little this
or too much that. It happens because there
are some real freaks among us, sociopaths
who don't belong in society. Look no further
than that.
