You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Just saw this again and was moved by
Mel Torme singing the Christmas Song
he wrote, by the gorgeous 17 year
old Liza Minnelli, and Judy singing
the best version of Over the Rainbow
she ever did.

What's great about the Christmas Song
is, there is no mention at all of Jesus
birth. There's the pagan yule log, and
other pagan rituals, no Jesus. Wonderful..

Symbolically only. Very few people
associate Christ with Christmas
anymore, except in passing, In
a hundred years, nobody will because
the name will have been changed.
Enough with celebrating myths, Jesus
wasn't even born in Bethlehem.

Most Christmas songs are done too slowly, as if sung by Perry Como. I like this version of Winter Wonderland by Darlene Love.

I associate Christmas with bell ringers and mince pie.
Also lottery tickets as gifts.

While we are on Christmas songs, please remember that French Hen is a cask of wine of a certain size, not a breed of fowl.

When I turned 21 my girlfriend at the time game me 21 lottery tickets. That already was about the worst gift you could give me. However, I held my tongue and said "thank you." Then she added that she bought seven tickets at three different locations, to improve my chances. This was almost too much to bear. I didn't want to seem ungrateful for the effort and it took everything I had to not give her a lecture on probability, so I just nodded. Suffice it to say that the eight-month courtship didn't last much longer.

the time, it's easy..
