It is nearly 20 years since most people worried about the price of LD. Late 1990s it was down to $.05/min on weekends. I remember the switch, I would call home and be able to just yack, not worry. In 1997 I worried about the bill, sometime in 1998 it no longer mattered. Then later I got a cell phone with free LD. It was amazing.

8 or 9 years ago I showed my parents how to talk to my brother who was in Saudi Arabia a the time for free. The were beyond amazed.
