Heard about this too late to join, but since you have 6, all's well. Good luck, all, and perhaps I can play next time. :)

One of the newcomers asked me if there is a record kept of old results. I consider myself the unofficial scorekeeper. The way we keep rank is everyone starts at zero. For every game, everyone but the winner loses one point and the winner gets a number of points equal to the number of people he beat. Thus, zero is always an average score. That said, here is the scoreboard.

Player Score Game 1 Game 2 Game 3 Game 4 Game 5 Game 6 Game 7 Game 8 Game 9 Game 10 Game 11
wizard 8 -1 -1 4 -1 4 -1 3 -1 2
miplet 7 3 -1 -1 4 -1 -1 3 -1 3 -1
rxwine 3 -1 5 -1
TheCesspit 2 -1 6 -1 -1 -1
pacomartin -1 -1
azduffman -2 -1 -1
beachbumbabs -4 -1 -1 -1 -1 5 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1
FrGamble -5 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1
odiousgambit -8 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1

there's at least a couple of us who don't like the Wizard's idea of scoring

as far as my own self-criticism, I think I had the best chance of winning my first game [prior game I was the non-player, a necessary keeper of the envelope etc as we didn't have Miplet's apps]. The other players hadn't gained experience yet, most never played before I think.

but I blew it by making a suggestion that gave away too much that I knew, but failed to flush out what I needed to know and someone else won, RxWine as I recall.

after that all the players learned fast! I was amazed.

Hi ODG,
This changes my perspective and amuses me. Sorry.

Don't take this as insult or criticism. It's just surprised and amused an old newbie with a JD in his hand.

PS. I don't really want to increase the bet tenfold. . . Maybe I give you that chance later.

Regards,
Bryan.

If you had really made me angry I would have insisted you honor it!

My problems in the later games indeed were the dominance of Wizard and Miplet, who don't miss a thing and who have seemingly better instincts as to when to go to Accusation.

Don't you think we deserve to be rewarded for that via our score?
