Jihad is a word that is in the mainstream
now, it means an all out assault. It means
fight, battle, holy war. in 1900 the hatred
of Jews in EU was erupting everywhere,
which drove many to the US. Which
started the antisemitism movement
in the 20's and 30's.

Defrock?
What is the difference between wearing black robes and speaking latin versus orange robes and speaking broken hindu?

There is no rush to remove elderly professionals who act as mouthpieces for Tobacco or Agent Orange.

There is often a rush to strike off someone like the Green Beret Doctor so he could not act as a doctor inside the prison system.

You can tell moving the embassy to
Jerusalem is a good thing, because
the pope has condemned it. He
will condemn anything that benefits
the Jews.

This antisemitism movement you speak about was similar to the anti-catholic movement in the states around the same time. I guess Americans have always had a hard time accepting immigration and different religious views. I guess there was a reason the KKK hated both Jews and Catholics alike.

That would be the hope, but alas both people who believe in God and those who don't do despicable things.
Do you not believe that people do what they think is right, or do they do, what they think is wrong?

People do all kinds of inappropriate acts because, they believe it is ok, at least for them, to do so. People are cannibals because, they don't think it is wrong. And in the case of "the Donner party", it wasn't. They commit arson, and violate every law with the belief that it is acceptable, for them to do so. Ergo, they are able to rationalize that pedophilia is ok, so they engage in it. If it wasn't ok, they wouldn't do it.

The same KKK that was the militant arm
of the Democrat Party? That KKK?

Yes, they make themselves the arbiter of what is right or wrong however that doesn't change the morality of what they do. I also believe that even when people justify that it is okay for them to do evil acts they have a conscience that they have to overcome and silence. Later if and when they think about what they did objectively they feel shame and guilt for it.

I do believe that people will do what they think is wrong or not do what they think is right because they try to rationalize it and justify that in their particular case it is okay.

And a good example is pedo
priests. I read an interview
with an ex pedo priest years
ago and he had a bunch of
what he considered good reasons
for abusing 12 year old boys.
He was very creepy, and convincing.
