That's more than I can say about his second wife.

Cheaper than divorce, he figured. Blake
had a long career but he always had
a couple screws loose..

David Ogden Stiers of MASH, dies at 75. He
was OK, not my fave from that show. He
was actually kind of irritating.

Roger Bannister. Mister 4 minutes. If someone asked me I would have thought he was dead for decades.

He was still alive? I thought he went a few years back.

75? wow. He was on MASH 40 years ago, starting in 1977. He was bald at age 35, and still got work in Hollywood. Jus sayin'.

Me too. Maybe I’m mixing him up with jogging guru Jim Fixx. Ironically, Fixx died of a heart attack back in the 80’s.

I was actually in the stands for the miracle mile at the Empire Games in 1954 in Vancouver. My dad was a huge track and field fan and pumped up the race so much that I actually still have some memories of the day.

I still watch MASH a couple of times a week. I believe Stiers was an accomplished musical conductor.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

I thought that was Werner Klemperer..

Klemperer was a violinist and an accomplished concert pianist. He broadened his acting career by performing as an operatic baritone and a singer in Broadway musicals. He can also be heard as the Speaker in Arnold Schoenberg's Gurre-Lieder, in a 1979 live performance with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
