I appreciate the warning. You might mention to your wife that hockey fans can be a rough crowd. I went to several Kings games in my younger days and the fans were a rough group, always taunting the other team and the ref. I enjoyed season tickets so heard the same fan over and over screaming. One of my favorites, directed at a referee, was "You have about as much control over this game as you do your wife!" Anyway, I mention this as a hockey game may not be the place for civilized people, which is why I like it! Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

He was in 109 movies and TV shows going back to the 50's. https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainment/news/richard-venture-character-actor-in-scent-of-a-woman-being-there-and-lots-more-dies-at-94/ar-AAuK3x4?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp&ffid=gz If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I wonder if actors like him die happy to have made a living playing dress up or jealous at other actors who get asked for autographs. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

I've read over the years that major actors are often envious of character actors because they're always working, always bringing in a steady paycheck. Some of them for decades. They're always in demand, and they don't have a huge staff to support, like most major actors do today. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Seems very logical. Never doubt a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; it's the only thing ever has |

I didn't know they used a real model, thought it was just some artist conception. The President is a fink. |

It's interesting that she didn't even know she was the model until decades later. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 23, 2012 Threads: 239 Posts: 6095 | I just wrote a question about the optimal strategy for this game in my Ask the Wizard column #307. The short answer is the expected points are maximized by picking 90-year-old men. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
