Proof of Alternate Universes?

Listening to all the discord in the world today: left/right, male/female, Islam/Christianity. Every side is sure they are right. They can even view the same event and have totally different descriptions of what has occurred. What if everyone is right and each brain is viewing a slightly altered but still real physical version of the world depending upon the input their own brain can sense?
