One YouTube channel I recently found and enjoy is Ask a Mortician. It features a mortician in the LA area who answers questions about the profession as well as provides a platform to promote environmentally friendly ways to ... recycle ... the body. Here is just one example.

How many even know who this is.
Always liked him and his perpetual
tan. 78 and and he's still working
and looking good.

People just don't get the huge power
trees have when cutting them down.

A couple were clearly pros who had a bad call, but most were redneck follies. When I was a kid we had to have a 100 year old maple, huge thing, cut down. It was right near the house. Guys were great, and I actually learned a lot about how they went about it. So much so that at the end of the day the guy was cutting a piece off with a branch sticking out. I am maybe 13 years old, just watching the guys a few hours, and was thinking, "that is going to bounce off that branch and hit the house."

Well, it did just that. Very minor damage, and the guy himself said it was his fault for being lazy at the end of the day. You have to be so, so careful.

Most of them seem oblivious to the
law that every action has an equal
and opposite re-action. When you
deal with tree's that weigh a couple
thousand pounds, that's a lot of
reaction.

There are thousands of these old
films on YT, I watch a few every
day. Is this the first dash cam in
1906? A computer has added
sound and made the movements
look normal. This one is in
exceptional condition.

There are no traffic rules, no cross
walks, no stop signs or lights.
Anything goes, people walk right
in the traffic. I can't imagine living
like this.

In a way I'm glad Janis Joplin died young.
She'd be 75 now, too weird. This is
the year she died, 1970, singing her head
off on Dick Cavett. She was 27. Just 2
weeks prior to Joplin's death, Jimi Hendrix
had died at the age of 27.

You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

They show you exactly how they do
it and it's still amazing.
