Skip the 1 minute intro. My favorite is the passerby who pulls the "legless" guy's pants off. Surprise surprise.

You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

There was a similar scene in the movie Trading Places.

Stephen King wrote a story about a
guy in NYC who makes a living
pretending to be a blind Vietnam
vet beggar. He makes $100K a
year and goes home to his fam
every night that thinks he works
in an office.

It's SK, so the kicker is, the guy
really turns into a blind vet every
day, he convinces himself so
thoroughly he is one.

Most of the time I just capture spiders and throw them out the door.

I never kill spiders. I have them around
my window in my office, they catch
the flies. Fascinating to watch them,
they're so predatory.

What they did here is amazing. They took
good B/W photos from the early 1900's
and colorized them with a computer. The
result is, you can really almost feel what
it was like to live in those times. The people
and the scenes come alive.

Most of those were just phenomenal. Thanks. Would not have thought they'd be that good, after watching a few colorized movies (botched) a couple decades ago. The ones they did incompletely really stood out as badly done when you looked at the excellent ones.

Some of them have an almost 3D effect,
like with a stereopticon. The subtle
shading is done well. We have lots
of super good, super clear B/W pics
from that era, I hope they more of
them. The people look like people now,
except they're in period costumes.

This is an interesting one. The Disney World complex straddles 2 counties and is larger than some cities. It would have been a juicy target for annexation, so Disney did the smart thing, and became their own municipalities. But that entailed way more than one might think.
