Some really neat stuff

I like those that have the "theater view" feature which allows you to get at the volume control without shrinking the view back down. I just noticed it, maybe this has been around for a while ... all future ones I hope.

Spent all evening watching videos of general life in S Korea and Japan. I would love to spend a month or two, especially in Japan.

One thing I want to do is just check out some everyday Japan products and see what people might like here. Also find a small lot in my town and build a Japanese-style place. But not to live in, more to rent out. Though I think finding someone to appreciate it would be hard.

Way more space than I would ever use. Tokyo is very pricey, I was surprised it was that low. While I would do something with that land, like a nursery side-hustle, I will keep my 1/10 acre but I can walk to most things I need. I love walking the town in the morning.

Saw a modern Japanese prison, looked nicer than the last Ramada Inn I stayed at.

It is still real low crime, and they focus on rehabilitating the mind. I saw one western girl they made sit and think on what she did. I forget what it was, something a young party-chick would do. She said it worked.

This one, the cells were clean and private. BW TV was the biggest hardship I could see.

I still wish they would make a movie of the life of the one guy I read about. He was the mafia connection in Tokyo for decades. How he did not get killed or do real time is a mystery. He had all the celebs in his pizza shop there.

I can't get this idea out of my head. I'd love to build this. I'd love to figure it out, then get a dying city like Akron, OH to donate a run down section (Section = 640 acres = 1 mile by 1 mile) and start an ag community. Put 100 up in a section, get people growing tropical stuff locally. Little house and greenhouse on 5 acres, rent to people using the McDonald's model to make a profit. Supporting local food!
