Beyond irritating. I was forewarned, but I clicked on it anyway.

I always click on stuff I get warned not to.

pretty funny

Possibly the best review of a donut ever. "It's like my first lesbian kiss; I'm confused, but I love it".

I've never had some of those donuts. They are not only fattening, they are incredibly high in sodium.

Crushed up caramelised biscuit spread oozing out of a Krispy Kreme doughnut, which is then topped with caramel icing, crushed Biscoff biscuits, and some white chocolate shavings.

Never had any of them, I quit eating sugar
in 1973. And it was because of donuts,

My favorite brand of donuts as well as coffee is Tim Hortons. I make it a point to go as often as possible when I have the pleasure of visiting Canada. They also have at least one in Detroit.

Krispy Kreme is my least favorite. If I must have an American doughnut, I'll take Winchell's.

Dunkin has gotten a lot of push the last 5 years or so, and they seem to be copying Tim Horton's. I cannot understand why Tim Horton's struggles in all but border cities. Go to Buffalo and every one is super busy all the time. Come inland and they are just another QSR place.

Overall it looks like Tim Horton's is Dunkin's primary competitor with about half as many locations worldwide. Much smaller is Krispy Kreme Doughnuts which is about 1000 locations and Winchell's Donuts is about 170 locations. Dunkin' has 12,538 franchise locations worldwide as of the end of 2017. Starbuck's had 13,275 company-operated stores, at end of 2017.

Dunkin and Tim's are kind of in a different market than KK. Both are donuts but with "brunch" foods that they are trying to sell into other dayparts. Dunkin has clearly tried to copy Tim's. I still do not get why Wendy's spun Tim's off half a generation ago. Well, I do, but talk about a missed opportunity.

Seems like there are Tim Hortons in Michigan 125 cities in Michigan.
https://locations.timhortons.com/us/mi.html

If you click on Detroit, you will see 11

Up one level, there are Tim Hortons in 14 states.

According to https://www.statista.com/statistics/291536/number-of-restaurants-north-america-tim-hortons/
"In 2016, there were 3,820 Tim Hortons restaurants in Canada and 811 in the United States."

More about how many Tim Hortons there are than you probably wanted to know.

1005 Krispy Kreme locations

170 Winchell's, and I had not heard of them. Looks like they are in 6 western states and some overseas locations.
