When I was going to UBC in Vancouver there was no bars open on Sundays in BC. The biggest business in Point Roberts at the time was a large bar that catered to drinkers from BC. The place just rocked on Sundays. Went there many times sometimes, to Bellingham. Point Roberts is now mostly just summer homes owned by Canadians. Some Canadians used to have their permanent residence in Point Roberts and commute to Vancouver for work. Post 9/11 that got harder to do. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you."
