The whole point of earbuds is partial sensory deprivation.

I tend to agree. When I unicycle I prefer to stay on exercise paths, which are full of women wearing earbuds, walking leashed dogs that wander all over the path. It can make it difficult to pass. Fortunately, the dogs usually stare at me, which alerts the woman that something is amiss. Thank you, dogs.

I think sensory deprivation is the reason most people can play slots for hours. They seem to hypnotize the player into an altered state. I make part of my living designing the things so I shouldn't complain.

Yeah, it's the dogs that are staring.

The whole point of earbuds is partial
sensory deprivation. They dull your
other senses and highlight just
your hearing. For the earbuds.

They cause an altered state of
consciousness in some people,
the same as talking on a phone
while driving does. Very dangerous.
How many people have walked
into open manholes while on the
phone, or into traffic.

I'll buy that. I know that unless I am sitting at a desk or something, the rare times I wear them I just use one. Even at a desk I just wear one sometimes because of how zombie the wearers become. What gets me though is you would think after nearly being hit by a car a person would you know, pay more attention. Nope, they just go back to listening.

This guy is good, shows the real world of repos. "Operation Repo" is not just totally fake, but no repo agent would escalate things like they do on that show. I'd come home from delivering suitcases and watch this guy, one video after the next.

These two are a set and two of his best. The wife just seems to be one of those impossible to deal with women who get what they want with her looks and her money, he just slams the door on her when she is whining about him taking her car that her husband refused to make the payments on. Her husband looks like Walter White.

One way to keep kids in school.

You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I'm hooked on watching these montages of
stars from the 70's and 80's and what they
look like today. Penny Marshall will make
you run from the room screaming 'No No
No No'.. I'm serious.

There are at least 25 of these videos. The men fared
better than the women, as usual. Lots of
memories here.

I don't think she ever looked good.

Does anyone have the guts to tell these aging celebrities that natural aging looks better than a cosmetic-surgery freak? A little cosmetic surgery, okay, but anything can be taken to a ridiculous extreme, as EB's video shows.

My own Lydia Cornell (now age 64) is holding up well.

I wonder about a woman who looks like that and gets married for the first time at age 49 and her first child at age 41. Why does she get married?
