You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

What would "Mexican America" look like today had it been annexed? Law might be different as LA law is today (code law not common law base.) It could be "America's Quebec" with Spanish widely spoken. The average Mexican would probably be living far better off.

The estimate of 25.2 million inhabitants in Mexico in 1519 has become a talisman for many historians, while the more prudent range estimate of 18-30 million goes largely ignored. The first modern census conducted in 1895 counted 12.6 million inhabitants in Mexico. The 1890 census of the US was 53 million inhabitants.

So first and foremost you have to answer the question is what would the population of an annexed Mexico be today. Most assumptions are that it would be far less than the present day 130 million. The Mexican-American population is 36.6 million.

The "stateside" Puerto Rican population was estimated at 5.8 million in 2018. The population of Puerto Rico (the island) in 2019 was estimated at 3.2 million.

It is quite possible the population of a theoretical annexed Mexico might also be less than the population living in the lower 48 states.

Because some of the sushi sits on the conveyors for a long time without being chosen, the more modern version is to order via screen and a conveyor or a train will deliver your order.

There is a Japanese restaurant in Vegas that does that.
