I went and found the post to show Evenbob that he is wrong:
I was indeed exasperated in writing the above and it is probably the most fire and brimestone I get, but it was after continued abuses and insults that were hurled at me from Evenbob. You can see that I am not claiming any superiority over anyone. I'm pointing out that good people all over the world are caring for others and serving them, some in the name of Jesus and others under no God. The question that Bob seems to get so upset about is when I ask what has he done? I believe his unhappiness is partly because he is not serving others and only serving himself. I believe that he and all of us would eventually find happiness and then eventually God if he did something sacrificial to help others out on a regular basis. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

No unhappiness here, it's all on your side. You have no idea what I do charitywise, you love to think atheists are the scum of the earth. You're the one that is unhappy, you're the one that wants to withdraw from public, and hide out in a monastery. That's not what happy people do, it's what unhappy conflicted people seek. You repeat yourself like a broken record because you have no idea you've already said the exact same thing 2 dozen times. And you do think atheists are scum, gimme a break. If you told me you were going to jump in front of a train, I wouldn't respect your decision, I would try to talk you out of it or prevent you physically from doing it. Clearly I'm headed straight to hell and you respect my decision. It would seem as much a matter of life and death as jumping in front of a truck. Thanks for respecting my decision.
