This is the exact opposite of Christianity.

Yeah?
Many become Xtions, but in the myths final
analysis, few will make the cut and be at
gods side. This is supposed to make people
try doubly hard to toe the line so they
won't be left out. Too bad none of it's real,
it's just a scam and a farce.

One of the best reasons to not convert to Christianity is to not be on the same team as people like you.

Always baffled me how someone can just "convert to..." the religion of their new spouse. Just,....throw it away. All you've believed up till then; just throw it away. Guess it didn't mean that much then.

Any alien coming down to Earth would think all religions are equally silly. "My invisible friend in the sky can beat up your invisible fried in the sky?" lol

Just want to say that whatever religion someone follows is obviously because of the country in which they grew up. duh. You follow whatever your peers tell you to follow. Natives "Indians" in North America didn't follow Allah in the 1200s. Or Jesus for that matter. Didn't Jesus know of their existence? Why didn't Jesus just give them the Bible?

*because it's all just a made-up story*...based on the country you grew up in

Again, what you are saying is a farce and a heresy. Jesus who promised the good theif paradise from the cross and who often prayed that He would not lose anyone who was given to Him and who claimed that it God's will that all be saved cannot be the same person you think He is. The more you post the more I realize what a twisted view of the faith you have.

Zippy, your argument doesn't hold for a worldwide religion like Christanity that is not dependent on any one culture or religion. In fact Christians are called to go to all nations to preach the Gospel. That's why the Bible was given to us, to share it with everyone. It is also why Christianity is the largest religion in the world and continuing to grow.

So, what is the Christian position on the fate of the souls who never heard about Jesus? For example, south American Indians before the Spanish arrived.

But it's what he said and what he
meant and you know it. Many
will be called, but only those
who've kept their noses the
furthest up Jesus arse will
be the ones sitting by his side
in heaven. That's what the myth
boils down to. All the 'god'
religions are like this, the most
zealous are always the most
rewarded. Heck, one of the
god religions showers the
faithful with virgins in heaven
if he's been a good boy. What
he's supposed to do with them
is a mystery.

The world is full of suckers, PT Barnum
knew that. People who can't or won't
think for themselves. And there's
always a god religion waiting to fill
the void. What else is new..

Of course you don't. Non believers by definition don't believe. I'm just pointing out the facts of the case. you can reject it at your own risk. you've now been told. It's up to you now. Heap coals on your head or not. It's entirely up to you.

This sounds a lot like "Jesus or Hell" to me.

At it's start, Christianity was small, regional, and dependant on one culture and religion.

In the year 1200, when they weren't giving bibles to native americans, it wasn't worldwide.
