The violence is coming, though. It was coming whether Trump ran or not. The anger is very, very deep.

Right. The thing is when you can really take care of yourself you don't have to show or prove it. You just quietly and cleanly take care of business, no ego required.

Politics in Mexico was beyond violent from 1910-1930 when over a million people died. Since then, things have been fairly calm. Not the calmness of Norwegian politics, but more that of Mussolini.

There will always be violence at these trips. Same as G-x meets. The Mexico violence may be part of a larger movement, not just the USA. But the USA is due for once in 80 years or so cycle of upheaval.
