Out for America actually keeps track of elected LBTQ officials in America. It's amazing.
557 Total number of LGBTQ elected officials nationwide with 18 of them Republican and 104 in California
There are 400 LBTQ candidates this fall.

1 Governor Kate Brown Governor of Oregon Sexual Orientation Bisexual
7 US Congress
4 Statewide
35 Mayor (2 Republican)
119 State Legislature (8 Republican)
297 Local (7 Republican)
94 Judicial (1 Republican)

I am actually surprised to see only 4 in Nevada as won of the lower numbers in any state (Mississippi, Louisiana, Hawaii, and S. Dakota were zero)

Pat Spearman Nevada State Senate Location District 1, NV Sexual Orientation Lesbian
Dave Parks Nevada State Senate Location District 7, NV Sexual Orientation Gay
Nelson Araujo Nevada Assembly Location District 3, NV Sexual Orientation Gay
Kelvin Atkinson Nevada State Senate Location District 4, NV Sexual Orientation Gay

Give a quote credit where credit is due
I 1st heard that from James Carville

"Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between."

By the way, LGBT run cities are the best cities to visit.

I know you are joking, but here are the seven.

U.S. Senator
Tammy Baldwin Location WI Sexual Orientation Lesbian

U.S. House of Representatives
Kyrsten Sinema Location District 9, AZ Sexual Orientation Bisexual
Sean Patrick Maloney Location NY-18, NY Sexual Orientation Gay
Mark Pocan Location District 2, WI Sexual Orientation Gay
David Cicilline Location District 1, RI Sexual Orientation Gay
Jared Polis Location District 2, CO Sexual Orientation Gay
Mark Takano Location District 41, CA Sexual Orientation Gay

It seems like a funny thing to say on the campaign trail. BTW I am bisexual.

I feel like we are one step away from people who run for office listing everything they like: oral, role playing, bondage, ...

BART in San Francisco.
