Is this streaming anywhere?

They have not even announced casting.

Monica Owusu-Breen is the showrunner, who has been working in TV series (some with supernatural themes) for 15 years.

Is the original Buffy streaming anywhere?
I binged on Breaking Bad and the Wire well after each series ended.

Buffy is my all-time favorite TV show.

When I first heard they were “rebooting” it, I rolled my eyes.

Then some of the writers from the original Buffy said that it’s more of a sequel than a reboot, and Joss Whedon will at least be somewhat involved behind the scenes (although his main focus is on his new HBO show he’s developing). So I’ll go in with low expectations, and hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I found LOTR and Dune almost unwatchable as movies, .

By 2002 I had read the LOTR trilogy 4 times.
I had low expectations for the first movie,
but it actually blew me away. It closely
followed the book and the characters
were true to what Tolkein had envisioned.

What didn't you like about it.

Wow! That is saying a lot. I don't even know if I have an all-time favorite. I would probably say Angel was my all time "The WB" tv series.

Downton Abby for me, then Mad Men. Breaking Bad.
Buffy is in the top 10.

Alisha Ilhaan Bø (born March 6, 1997), was born in Oslo, Norway, to a Somali father and a Norwegian mother (from Trondheim). She then had an American stepdad at age 7 and moved to Los Angeles. Alisha has that pedigree that showrunners love for their young adult TV series.

She seems to be on the short list for the Buffy reboot.

Here she is with her castmate for next year.
