You said he would be the Dem nominee in 2020. Have any of your political predictions ever been right? (Hint: no!) “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Medicaid is the program that provides proper healthcare if you don't have the ability to pay(meaning getting a job that gives health insurance). Around NINETY MILLION people are on Medicaid!!!!! So poor people DO get health insurance! And for those who can't figure out that a job with benefits for a buck or two an hour less is better than the job they have, there are multiple low cost options that OBAMACARE has created. Add 10's of MILLIONS more. The government ALREADY either insures or subsidizes over 100 million AMERICANS! Are you not aware of this? |

Or just let BLOOMBERG win because he uses his own big money to buy the nomination? You think that's better than allowing American citizens to donate to a candidate's campaign? Gotcha...... |

Ok lot to unpack there. Many countries seized land hundreds of years ago from Natives. Its history, they lost. Now, the U.S. throws billions at them every year, and allows them to have a lot of exclusive rights. None of which I agree with.... I say seize all of their land and make they integrate into real society. U.S. military members swimming in radiation? Any service related radiation exposure is covered by the VA.... They get free healthcare and free monthly disability payments for life. Yes, it's horrible, but it's a risk when in the military, and at least the government provides a system to help. (And, back to my main point, an excellent system, one that we should emulate for our national healthcare system). I don't agree with the GM bailout. But, that is hardly a sign of an evil county.... Any government in world can seize land. This is standard. The process in America is actually far better than almost anywhere else. In fact I would argue it take far longer than it should, especially at a local level... Also, you support a massive wall, you do realize this would be the single largest eminent domain project in history? (and if you support a wall for all borders, biggest eminent domain project in world history). As for "too much cash", I assume you are talking about civil forfeiture seizures? I probably agree that the process needs to change. The fact that most of your examples of how America is an evil country are either the government paying for land (does not happen in a lot of places), people getting their money seized (terrible, but the norm in many third world countries, with zero recourse...), the government throwing money at companies, or ancient history, I think shows that America is the greatest country in the world. Also, I should remind you Trump is a "huge fan" of eminent domain.... |

In Evenbob's Defense he wouldn't have known anything was wrong with Avenatti until his Arrest/Indictment/Trial/Conviction. A Potential Presidential Candidate can look upstanding/Righteous/Good/Morally Right, etc and then be Convicted for having Raped his Secretary just a year ago. You never know. |

You should do your research on Canada's system it is not what you believe at all. Each Province (think State) runs the health care system in their own Province. The Federal government doles out the majority of the funds to Provinces for health care and this is always a major negotiation between the feds and the provinces with lots of pork barrel politics going on. Each province sets their own rules on eligibility and there are significant differences from province to province. Canada does not have and could not afford universal on demand health care. Costs are kept down with wait times. Wait times for things like knee and hip replacement range from 6 months to a couple of years depending on severity and where you live. If you have enough money you can go to a 'private clinic' that is not part of the public health system and pay $10's of thousands to jump the queue. The government is always hassling these 'private clinics' because they are perceived by the left as creating a two tier medical system. The costs of a totally free and unlimited access health care system are beyond the means of any country. Canada's system is good and I fully support and enjoy the benefits of the system but be informed as the US goes down that path that it will not be as you imagine it. The provinces in Canada spend between 75 and 80% of their total budgets on health care and education. The remaining amount has to pay for all the government frills like transportation, government oversite, support for the poor, security and other expenditures that the population might also feel are important. Here's a definition for you -Health care is a basic right in a Democratic society. It is no more a privilege based on ability to pay than is the right to vote, which was once accorded only to property owners. I probably wouldn't argue with your presentation that "we already do that" except for quibbles. For instance, healthcare being the number one cause of bankruptcy in the US. Or people skipping medications because their "right" doesn't provide enough money to support the costs. Or even substituting veterinary drugs. Also, not sure a right should drain your bank account before you qualify for care. That word "subsidize" is tricky also. If I give you $500 off something you still can't afford, it's not much help. The system you support also gives free health care. Hardly something you need to beat the left over. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Seizing land? That is just the start of it. How about decades of starving them on reservations? Integrating them into society? The Cherokee were all for that. Go to Oklahoma and ask them how that one turned out.
Yeah, I gave ya cancer and all kinds of other problems. Yeah, we told you to jump in that water. Here's some low end health care for us totally destroying your life. All good, eh?
I am talking about having cash on you because maybe you are in a cash business or maybe you just prefer to carry cash and the government outright stealing it just because you have it. Because they "think you are up to no good." I am not talking as part of a crime. I am talking no crime committed. It keeps happening.
I am not talking about eminent domain. I am talking about the government outright reneging on it's word. On using it's own soldiers as test subjects without telling them. About stealing from it's people just because it has the muscle to do so. You still believe what they taught you in school. I look at reality and real history. The US Government plays for keeps. And it's record is not near as stellar as you think. The President is a fink. |

You beat me to that! If it happens I have to wonder if I could buy a life insurance policy on him with myself as beneficiary. The President is a fink. |
