Now that the election is over and Beto lost in TX, I feel like he’s going to run.
I.

I hope so, he's a terrible public speaker.
Trump would massacre him. He has
no charisma or likability. I don't get
why people think he's so great.

And the guy is a dork. He waves his
arms around whenever he talks, like
he's a mental patient.

Kamala Harris compares ICE to KKK

How does a person this radical get elected to anything? Or is the default position of the Democrat Party now just to compare anything they do not like to "white supremacy?"
The President is a fink.

Responding to the two posts above, I think Kamala Harris is positioning herself even too far left for the Dems. On the other hand, I have never seen a better "pro kneeling" response than the one Beto gave. I do agree with EB that he uses arm motion too much when he speaks, but i think he would be a worthy adversary for Trump in a debate. If he gets the nomination I'd bet on him beating Trump.

After such a loss as they had in 2016, the liberal party tends very far left the next couple elections. We are seeing a repeat of 1972 and 1984-1988 at this time. She could be the next McGovern. It is clear that the 2020 circus, er, Democrat Primary will be a battle of Trump hate and moving as far left as possible. So she might be doing the right thing.
The President is a fink.

Outrageous statements? It's going to be funny watching the right criticize candidates for something Trump has done over and over. Making outrageous statements is at the top of his list.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Have you actually watched some of this
clowns speeches? He wears his emotions
on his sleeve, he rants and raves and
waves his arms around like he's drunk.
Trump would mop the floor with him.

I find him extremely irritating. Nobody
is that breathlessly animated about
every subject he talks about, it's an
act. It's a gimmick, he taught himself
how to act emotionally pumped up,
and he doesn't know how to turn it
off. A little of him goes a long long
way.

It also really hurts him that he raised
$70 million, which is presidential
money, and he still didn't win because
he's just not that likable.

I know you don't believe most of this. He in no way appears drunk. His pro kneeling speech was right on point. (I disagree with his points, but that does not change the fact he got them across well) I could see why YOU find him irritating; because he makes points you are opposed to in a powerful way. He did not win because he was running in a RED state called Texas. The fact that he came that close is remarkable. Funny you should use the works 'not likeable' when discussing someone running against Ted Cruz.....

You just made my point for me.
Cruz is very unlikable, and Beto
couldn't beat him with $70 mil
to back him up. Read some of the
comments on Beto's speeches
on Youtube, lots and lots of people
can't stand the guy for the same
reasons I can't stand him. I liked
Obama in 08, I voted for him. He
was a great speaker.

I disagree about appearing drunk.
I had a bar for 3 years, one thing a
lot of drunks do is wave their
arms around when speaking. Beto
even does it when he's sitting
down. It's an affectation, a learned
trait. Ever see a Tony Robbins video?
It's like Beto has patterned himself
after Robbins, all the fake emotion
and arm waving.

You act like it should be easy for a Dem to win a statewide race in TX.

Did they give him $70 mil because
they thought he would lose? I don't
think so. He couldn't beat unlikable
Cruz with a ton of cash, yet he can
beat a likable incumbent president?
Again, I don't think so. All the arm
waving in the world couldn't do that.
Beto is what we used to call a 'tool.'

tool: a puppet or easily manipulated person who unknowingly advocates for and advances the interests of someone else.. a person who is used or manipulated by another person or group. Someone who is manipulated by others, basically a fool.

This is who Beto patterns himself
after:

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
