The 16 Republican candidates in 2016 were often called a circus
but they were all normal people......................................

the democrats have a fake Indian, a fake Mexican, a crazy old man who can't stand up in the shower, a creepy old man who touches women and kids, a hoe who slept her way to the top, and an unqualified gay guy who isn't qualified to be dog catcher

all that's missing is Jerry Springer to moderate the debates lol!!!!!!!!

voted Republican last two elections
AL AK AZ AR GA ID IN KS KY LA MS MO MT NE NC ND OK SC SD TN TX UT WV WY

voted Democrat last two elections
CA CO CT DE DC HI IL ME MD MA MN NV NH NJ NM NY OR RI VT VA WA

6 state battlegrounds where Trump won and Romney lost
FL OH IA (MI PA WI)

FL & OH are the traditional battleground states
(MI PA WI) had previously voted Democrat in every election since 1988, what used to be the Blue Wall

Hillary lost the 6 state battlegrounds 46.4% to 49.0% by 2.6%
Obama won the 6 state battlegrounds 51.6% to 47.1% by 4.5%

Which of these Democratic candidates has a chance of winning the battleground?

Of the ones running so far, none.
Too old, too Left, or too weird.

I don't want him to be President, but I don't think Andrew Cuomo is too old, too left, or too weird. I guess he will be considered too left by EB, but he blocked single payer in NY. And a few other clearly Dem ideas he wasn't on board with. He was staunchly for Amazon jobs that were killed by those left of him.

Not a single job was killed.
All those jobs still exist. The only question is where will those jobs be located
Hopefully in an area of the country that chooses not to subsidize the company with massive tax breaks and instead tax them just like any other local company and let Amazon succeed or fail on its own merits with no special govt help. That's capitalism.

To quote Mark Baum, "good luck with that!"

They are not all onboard with reparations yet, but I do not see many if any giving a "that's crazy!" reply. Too afraid of and too owned by the Black vote, 25% or so of the Democrat Party vote. Not that I am saying all Blacks are in favor, many know that if you want to set race relations back 75 years then reparations are the way to go.

My own Bernie Sanders is opposed to them.

"Its likelihood of getting through Congress is nil,” he (BS) told Fusion in an interview. “Second of all, I think it would be very divisive.”

Bernie Sanders has a direct answer on reparations at Iowa forum

This makes my selection process much easier. Finally a Democratic candidate with some grounding in reality. Where is my Bernie t-shirt from 2016?

As you shop I would ask how you look at their position on taxes. (If this is too personal just tell me to go jump in Lake Mead.) You had a large gain when you sold your business a few years back. I will not ask about structure and taxes, but some of these candidates would have had you giving well over half of that in taxes. Does the 70% tax rate proposal affect your decision?

That's fine to ask. The sites were held by my corporate entity at the time, which helped a lot. As I recall, I paid about 18%, which is fine with me. I'd be happy to pay more in taxes overall if it purchased nationalized health care.

I think reparations is a non issue
There may be some talk about it but its just talk
There may be Dem candidates that say they are looking at it but that's just political BS
There's not going to be any reparations.
If it didn't happen when a Black man was President, it will never ever happen

Exactly! I'm sure the issue fires up a black audience, but at the expense of losing white voters, including me.

I fully admit many people have legitimate grievances about injustices to their ancestors, but at some point you have to quit the blame game and just move on.

Your man Bernie will be 80 years old the year
he's sworn in as president. It's funny, we don't
want an 80 year old doctor operating on us,
we don't want 80 year olds driving cars, we
don't want 80 year olds being cops and
carrying guns. Why does everybody think
it's just fine to have some guy who will be
84 at the end of his first term running
the country. It makes no sense.
