Not a single job was killed.
All those jobs still exist. The only question is where will those jobs be located
Hopefully in an area of the country that chooses not to subsidize the company with massive tax breaks and instead tax them just like any other local company and let Amazon succeed or fail on its own merits with no special govt help. That's capitalism.

Governor Cuomo represents the people of New York state at present. Tens of thousands of jobs were killed in New York State. The fact that jobs may exist in a different state does not Mean that tens of thousands of jobs were not killed in New York State. This is a pretty simple concept. You could say if he was president of the united states that the lack of tax subsidy for Amazon would be a good thing. But if you were only representing the citizens of New York State it is not a good thing.

Also responding to Bob claiming that Bernie Sanders is too old to be president. I wholeheartedly agree. I would say the same thing for Joe Biden and Donald Trump as well!

The funny thing on age is the older people might care more. When Dole was running I remember Limbaugh bringing up some poll or something. Younger people did not care, older people his age did as they knew how much age wears you out. I used to feel that way about Bret Favre, who is less than a year older than me. I knew how my body felt and I had a normal, white-collar life. How did he do it.

My own Bernie Sanders is opposed to them.

Good to hear, though instead of the logic being it will not get thru congress to hear him say, "No, every slave is dead." He sounds more pragmatic than ideological.

Peter ButtCrack is obsessed with his
Gayness, he can't stop talking about
it.

"I’m from Indiana, I’m gay as a — I don’t know, think of something really gay — that’s how gay I am,” he said in an interview with TMZ’s Harvey Levin.

At the end of this Presidential term the ages will be
83.4 Bernie
82.2 Joe
78.6 Donald
43.0 Pete

Given that the incumbent is normally the best person to run for a second term, we are talking about some really old men.

But how old will Bernie and Biden
be if they win and are reelected.
Bernie will be pushing 90.

I admit age is a factor with Bernie. It's not a deal breaker, but definitely a strike.

I do think with age comes wisdom. That is why, I presume, judges to the Supreme Court are granted life terms. The older I get the more I see most issues as conflicting forces and trying to find an intelligent middle ground between them. At half my age I would have been more inclined to pick the extreme I liked better on any issue.

I do acknowledge that dementia is a very real problem for the elderly. It comes on very slowly so it's hard to detect. Bernie seems sharp as a tack to me, at least for now, but you never know what is mental health will be like in 2024 or 2028. I am of the opinion Reagan started his mental decline somewhere in his second term.
