It's like my wife and the casino. She loses most of the time, but when she goes home a winner, she acts like she's accomplished something, and is happy as a clam. I used to point out that for the year she's only $3500 in the hole now, but I learned that's not a very good idea to introduce reality into the situation.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
