Baby, It's Cold Outside

For those who haven't heard, some radio stations are banning the song Baby, It's Cold Outside. The song tells the story of a woman trying to leave a man's home and the man trying to coax her into staying. Some would argue, too forcefully and not taking "no" for an answer. The gender roles can also be reversed. Here is a video showing two renditions of the song.

With the introduction out of the way, what is your opinion on this. I'm especially interested in the female point of view.

ban the song. Men are already avoiding
women like the plague, big companies are
not hiring them in droves. Too many headaches
now.

Babs even agreed with me yesterday that
most women are predatory.

The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, is inappropriate in 2018 since Hamlet is such a misogynist.

We have to really dig deep to remove all of this stuff from our culture.

I think that we are getting scary close to 1984's ministry of truth with constantly trying to erase our past.

I doubt he was advocating that, but making a point to the contrary.

I don't know why they should ban it, but there's nothing wrong with noting a song might have become controversial.

I watch old moves on TCM which have plenty of problematic content.
