T If we completely cover Russia with wind turbines we can replace the oil we are currently using.

Or did it say that would only keep
up with the increasing demand
every year.

You think might be right EB but I am too lazy to look it up right now.

I'm pretty sure it said covering every acre
of Russia would just cover the 2% increase
in demand every year, that's how lame
wind power is.

Has anyone tried these plant based burgers from Beyond Meat? Do you think they are good for you. they have same calories and fat, just no cholesterol.

never tried them but faux foods are often chemically very similar to the 'real' thing.
people get pig's hearts, insulin from 'lower' life forms.
some of the burgers even have blood put in them so as to seem more real.

Nope. If it never mooed it is not a hamburger.

I love vegetables.
Except when they pretend to be meat.

Investors in the company include Bill Gates, Tyson Foods, and PET along with some Hollywood celebrities.

The Beyond Burger contains 20 grams of protein and has no soy, no gluten, no GMOs, no cholesterol, and half the saturated fat of an 80/20 beef burger.
However, it contains five times as much sodium as unseasoned hamburger meat and one dietician argued that the processing of the vegetarian ingredients could cause the loss of valuable nutrients.

The marketing is not aimed at vegans, but at people who sort of want to be partly vegan, but they don't want to go through any effort. Since they are sold at A&W Canada (not the USA) one reviewer commented that it helps the Beyond Burger to compare it to the low-grade beef in fast food hamburgers. You would never confuse it for a really good cut of beef.
