I'm surprised that he lasted this long before getting suspended. I don't think that he was snitched on because there have been numerous opportunities to snitch on him in the past where he has crossed the line.

I did click the link. Hard to believe she is actually running. I sense a spoof/scam.

On a serious AOC note, she came to Buffalo to stump for India Walton, a self described Socialist running for mayor. She won the primary against Democrat long time mayor Byron Brown. He is a ‘regular’ progressive Democrat who has some centrist tendencies as well. He is running a well funded write in campaign and actually (supposedly) has a chance. The Republicans (smartly) are not running a candidate and close to all of them (not many in the City of Buffalo) will vote for him.

India has only been arrested once for threatening to break the legs of a fellow coworker, only kicked out of one rental apartment for multiple drug related complaints, and also admitted that she didn’t pay her parking tickets with an excuse of ‘my bad’. In the primary she was a big ‘defund the police’ advocate but now that the political winds have turned she says she was mischaracterized. I’m not sure what qualifications a Mayor of a mid sized city should have, but she doesn’t have them.

Can she lose to a write in candidate?

No, look at Mayor Lightfoot in Chicago. Totally unqualified, a total idiot. Yet she's running for re-election. This India person seems perfectly qualified. Only been arrested once for threatening physical violence, lots of drug-related complaints and is a deadbeat who doesn't pay parking tickets. Perfect for Progressive liberal mayor.

I forgot to mention she played the ‘I am an abused wife’ card when explaining he past errors. I am not sure if she would be worse than Lori Lightfoot. That would be hard to do.

People within the city will vote for the D. They would vote for Stalin if he had a D instead of dem wascally wepublicans.

Sad to say these cities need to just fall to pieces and become unlivable until eventually people wake up. This socialist thing is going to keep growing in heavy Democrat Party areas as the Democrat Party is taking a socialist turn. Just keep hope that they do not try to force annex Cheektavegas and Amherst.
