I was kind of surprised seeing that picture of her. She actually looks friendly, and radiant.

The reason you line up the other job first is so that you have an upper hand in negotiating terms. If they know you're out of work then they get to tell you what you'll be paid.

First, have everything you want out of the office and at home. From any names on a rolodex to if you like the pens they have. Be prepared to be offed right then and there if you offer 2 weeks notice.

Well, I will still be employed when I go on the interview

steal them blind in those 2 weeks, so they
frog march you out of the building with
the stuff out of your desk in a cardboard

She had dozens of proposals on social media the minute she got divorced.

It's not clear which house she will keep. They have a nice one in Beverly Hills.

It depends. I do know a place the owners gave 2 weeks notice of closedown and left town. Every piece of client info picked clean. If they need you bad enough they may keep you.
