I do not think it is so much how it started vs. how fast it spread. If it was welding, those guys would have been high trained to watch for fire. Even more so on this kind of project.

That the government rules out arson so fast is suspect.

Not is there is a computer glitch that reported the base of steeple fire as being an elevator fire. that is the current thinking but it might just turn out to be a human who thought the blinking light was above rather than below the location.
