Probably because no one has ever really defined what the hell a “Never-Trumper” is. I always thought it referred to a Republican who doesn’t accept a moronic oaf like Donny as the leader of their party (i.e. George Will, Bill Kristol). And who will she endorse now? No one immediately. Just because she likely favors one particular candidate does not mean she will endorse him or her. She will be angling for some sort of 'favor' before throwing her support to Joe or Pete or Bernie or Elizabeth. I'll endorse you if I can be Secretary of Housing, please! Etc.... (Same happens on GOP side, with Trump likely being a singular exception!) Did he get any endorsements from any of the 17 he was going against until it was clear he was the nominee? |
