Icehouse is the cheapest at $9.99 for 24 12 ounce cans

Wow, 10 bucks. Beer was 5 bucks a
case 50 years ago in 1967. It sure
hasn't kept up with inflation. I'm
sure it tastes like donkey piss, but
what the heck.

I did just learn something. I think I understand why you’re so in love with Donald. It appears you might have some common interests.

In 2018, the U.S. beer industry shipped (sold) 202.2 million barrels of beer – equivalent to more than 2.8 billion cases of 24-12 ounce servings.
Based on beer shipment data and U.S. Census population statistics, U.S. consumers 21 years and older consumed 26.5 gallons of beer and cider per person (283 twelve ounce cans) during 2018.
There are 20 breweries that make 83% of all beer consumed. AB makes 40.8% and Miller makes 23.5%.

Inflation adjusted $5 in 1967 is about $38 today. So most beer costs less than that.

MICHELOB ULTRA PURE GOLD is the most expensive non-craft domestic beer in the distributor and it is $35 a case. ABV is only 4.30%

SAM ADAM 76 is considered a craft beer, and is $36.29 a case
