Seinfeld is no longer an actor? He's worth $850 mil. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Better idea, skip the love story angle and insert more dogfighting scenes we went to see in the first place? The President is a fink. |

Except for the films he did as a teenager, I thought Tom Cruise always has a love interest. I haven't seen the last two Mission Impossible films, and so I don't know if Rebecca Ferguson is a love interest or just a colleague. I don't remember a love interest in "War of the Worlds" Born: July 3, 1962 Risky Business ( 5 August 1983 ) Rebecca De Mornay All the Right Moves ( 21 October 1983 ) Lea Thompson Legend (18 April 1986) Mia Sara Top Gun (16 May 1986) Kelley McGillis The Color of Money (17 October 1986) Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio ... Mission: Impossible 2 (May 24, 2000) Thandie Newton Born 6 November 1972 Mission: Impossible III (5 May 2006 ) Michelle Monaghan Born March 23, 1976 Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol ( 21 December 2011) Paula Patton Born: December 5, 1975 Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (31 July 2015 ) Rebecca Ferguson Born: October 19, 1983 Mission: Impossible - Fallout ( 27 July 2018 ) Rebecca Ferguson Born: October 19, 1983 |

That is one problem with Cruise. While he always makes money for his partners, his flicks all follow fairly similar bones. The love interest brings in the ladies I guess, which makes more money. Usually I can do without that part of the film. The President is a fink. |

Well that’s cool. She looks like a real person, someone who would be interesting to know. Fun facts: She owned a brewpub and worked the bar when she was married to Fred Tillman. She then worked full time at Seabrook House Drug and Alcohol Rehab, until she moved to North Carolina. Sounds like she was more interested in making a difference in the world. Hats off! |

Tom Cruise $10,122.7 million worldwide Tom Hanks $10,198.0 million worldwide While most movies today make more than half their money overseas, Tom Cruise has been that way almost from the start. Top Gun made 50% overseas, and with one exception every Tom Cruise movie since 1996 has made more than 50% overseas. Movies that are popular overseas almost require action and a love interest Year Overseas Title 2018 72.2% Mission: Impossible - Fallout 2017 80.4% The Mummy (2017) 2017 61.9% American Made 2016 63.8% Jack Reacher: Never Go Back 2015 71.4% Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation 2014 73.0% Edge of Tomorrow 2013 68.9% Oblivion 2012 63.3% Jack Reacher 2012 35.2% * Rock of Ages 2011 69.9% Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol 2010 70.8% Knight & Day 2008 58.5% Valkyrie 2007 76.3% Lions for Lambs 2006 66.3% Mission: Impossible III 2005 60.4% War of the Worlds 2004 53.6% Collateral 2003 75.7% The Last Samurai 2002 63.1% Minority Report 2001 50.5% Vanilla Sky 2000 60.6% Mission: Impossible II 1999 65.6% Eyes Wide Shut 1999 53.7% Magnolia 1996 60.5% Mission: Impossible 1996 43.7% * Jerry Maguire 1994 52.9% Interview with the Vampire 1993 41.4% * The Firm 1992 41.9% * A Few Good Men 1992 57.3% Far and Away 1990 47.7% * Days of Thunder 1989 56.5% Born on the Fourth of July 1988 51.3% Rain Man 1988 54.4% Cocktail 1986 50.0% Top Gun Tom Hanks movies make a much smaller percentage overseas with exceptions like The Da Vinci Code and the sequal Angels and Demons and Inferno. I am not counting movies in the 80s that were only released domestically. |

I get it, I just don't care for that portion. Was watching some John Wayne WWII flick with a roommate and complained. Roommate says let him get laid. I said time for that later, if he was not fooling around we could have won the war six months sooner for all the time he was wasting. I do find the foreign box office amazing. Some of these countries think Americans are the biggest SOBs around, but love our films. The President is a fink. |

Nope, probably the opposite, None in either Jack Reacher, Collateral, Edge of Tomorrow, Mummy, Minority Report, Valkyrie, Rain Man, and lots of others. Did he ever have one in any of the Mission movies? If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
